The paving stone streets of East Germany under ones feet and the speed of Los Angeles up in the nose are left behind. The two met for a second time and began songs to write.
Winkler an endowed pianist / Keyboarder and Specker a ventured singer, writer and percussionist; went into the Sunrise studio near the foot of the mount Säntis in order to record their first songs together. At that time they had to help the Studer recording machine a little to momentum, heat up the oven so they would not freeze and get rid of the cable salad in order to give a hand to the sound technician, in his inexperienced way. The result after three weeks ended then, at the peace judge in Winterthur, he had to listen to the twelve 3 minutes songs; in order to decide about whether such crap to scrap would be affordable or a cost-free disposal would be better for always and the posterity.

That was in the year 1987.
They would not sit down together again until 1994; on a table to write their small success story of "Yorba Linda". With much effort and in many joint hours, they came up with a 90minute program, with their own material. These were then introduced in the overcrowded Albani Music club, with large success. That was also the "kick off" for a dozen Gigs in the entire of Switzerland. Fatally another recording studio visit in1996 led to another split between them; too far apart was their ideas about their own music.

Much later the first grey hairs began to show and each one of them had to say goodbye to their own fathers by the graveyard. Now, as "nothing stays the same"; the entire ballast of individuality and all, left behind negative experiences, that happen in the Pop atmosphere of life, was to put aside to gather once again; in the year 2002 they restrict on that, what they bring together in a unique manner: creating songs spontaneously, darkly, melancholy, critical, accusing, tracery, naively, witty, oppressing, hoping, sadly or simply lovely.

Specker Winkler is the CD; life and low; with receptions out of the entire time after the time; of Romeos Child, Black Times, Danger, Talisman, Voice or Yorba Linda.
An Album without a budget; 20 songs produced, absolutely timeless; just waiting for: to be interpreted by talented "youngsters"; that is Specker and Winkler's simple dream.
